Alec Elmore, founder and principle with OpenGate consulting, has over fifteen years of combining business and technology solutions for a variety of industries, including, Consumer Goods, Higher Education, Law, High Tech, Telecom and Industrial products.  Alec previously held the role of Vice President of Product Strategy for Prescient Applied Intelligence, a supply chain management software provider.  In this role, Alec worked with customers and industry analysts to determine the needs of the market and transform those needs into product.  Alec also acted as the spokesperson for the product with analysts, press and business partners.  In addition, Alec was VP of Client Services, responsible for all customer support and implementation services provided by Prescient.  Prior to Prescient, Alec was a senior manager for Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice working with clients in the to improve business operations by leveraging technology. His projects encompassed the full range of the systems lifecycle, overall Project Management, Information System Planning, Strategic Assessments, Package Software Sections, and Implementation/Rollout of the selected technologies.
